BACKGROUND AND EDUCATION

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, minor in Sociology from Flagler College. From there I travelled to Chicago, IL, where I obtained two Master’s Degree’s- one in Clinical Social Work, specializing in work with children and families (2012) from Loyola University of Chicago and one in Child Development, with specialization in Infancy (ages 0-3) (2012) from Erikson Institute, Chicago.

After completing my post graduate education, I traveled to Southern California where I received much of my professional experience with families in crisis, experiencing complex trauma, and seeking support with major adjustments such as Foster Care and Adoption. Through my extensive experience with pregnant and parenting families with very young children, I received advanced certifications as an Infant-Family Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist (IFECMHS) and Reflective Practice Facilitator (RPF II) from the California Center, and a Certification as a Perinatal Mental Health Specialist (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International (PSI).
