PARENT THERAPY

"When we begin to know ourselves in an open and self-supportive way, we take the first step to encourage our children to know themselves."

- Dan Siegal

Sometimes, despite your best efforts to use the all the amazing parenting tools you know, your own triggers get in the way. Parents are people too! To be the parent we want to be, we often have to do the work of making sense of our own childhood and experiences being parented. Especially, if they were complicated or traumatic. Parent therapy is a safe, judgement free space to take the time to understand how your past shows up in your present. Developing this insight and compassion for yourself will enable you to parent with less reactivity and more joy.
